Ron has been with Crum-Halsted since early 2018 and has over 30 years of experience in the finance industry; a majority of which was spent in community banking.  A Sycamore local, Ron studied at the University of Iowa and then graduated from the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado.  Ron is an active member of the Knights of Columbus, Sycamore Chamber Ambassadors, the Church of Saint Mary, and Home Bound Ministry.  He is also a Board Member for the Kishwaukee Family YMCA in Sycamore.  Ron is a firm believer in leadership through stewardship and community activism.  He enjoys building relationships, volunteering, and developing himself through these and other activities in order to be the best insurance agent and person he can possibly be.  His desire to make a difference and serve others through his leadership also spurs his reading habits.  He recently read John C. Maxwell’s 21 Indispensable Qualities of a Leader, which breaks down key leadership qualities including the ones that Ron uses as cornerstones of his professional career and service:  generosity, relationships, and problem solving.
